Dear Ambassador,

I am writing a letter of support for Green Brigades, the Ecologist's paper, on behalf of tao communications. Tao is a toronto based progressive server. It provides internet services to grassroots non-government organizations, particularly those that work on environmental and social justice issues. Tao suppports web sites, sets up and maintains listserves, and provides individuals and organizations with internet accounts.

Tao strongly supports the Green Brigades paper. Much like tao, Green Brigades strives to offer an affordable means of information exchange for grassroots groups. The paper in particular encourages women writers. As a progressive media organization, tao shares Green Brigades' concern with involving traditionally underprivileged groups in creating and accessing media.

Tao works to be inclusive; anti-racism and multiculturalism are among its basic principles. Encouraging Green Brigades, which provides crucial information about ecology and social issues to a diverse spectrum of Polish groups, supports our mandate.

We hope the Canadian embassy will also see fit to support Green Brigades in its efforts to provide Polish NGO's with access to affordable, relevant information about ecology and politics.
